Since we  love all things San Francisco, in terms of hotels, we were looking for something unique, creative and attractive and we think that we found one that is a little off the beaten path.

Please meet Club Quarters Hotels.

Club Quarters Hotels are full service hotels designed for business travelers with locations in the U.S. and U.K. Club Quarters was founded by American business executive Ralph Bahna, who opened the first Club Quarters Hotel on West 45th Street in Midtown Manhattan in 1994.

Headquartered in Stamford, CT, Club Quarters Hotels has locations in New York City, London, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Houston and San Francisco.

Founder Ralph Bahna sought to open his hotels near major corporate and financial centers.

He designed the chain's business model to give priority to business travelers whose companies and organizations joined Club Quarters Hotels as members.

In a 2012 interview with the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, Bahna stated that his goal for his hotels was "to have the best locations, be full service, charge less, and still make a big profit.

Which brings us to our creative and unique San Francisco property.

“It's so fascinating to think about how each snowflake is completely individual - there are millions and millions of them, but each one is so unique.”… Kate Bush
We go straight to the source at clubquartershotels.com for a description. “Located in the heart of San Francisco's financial and main business district, our hotel offers the best of both business and leisure attractions to our guests. Among the towering high-rises, visitors will find parks, shops and restaurants; within a short walk is Chinatown, Market Street and the Ferry Building.”

It’s one thing how we see ourselves.

It’s another how others see us.

Here is how another sees the Club Quarters Hotel in San Francisco at oyster.com. “The Club Quarters is different from a typical hotel. It offers memberships to businesses and nonprofits that agree to pay for a certain number of nights every year. Nonmembers can also book rooms, of course, but it can be hard to find an available room on a weekday -- not ideal for most business travelers. However, due to the steady revenue stream, weekend and holiday rates can be much lower than what you'd find at other hotels in San Francisco's Financial District, especially for a studio or one-bedroom suite with an in-room kitchenette.

Although this is not the kind of hotel to host a party in the lobby, and most leisure travelers prefer to stay in Union Square, where cable cars run past high-end shopping, or near the waterfront shops, sea lions, and ferries to Alcatraz in Fisherman's Wharf, just about anywhere in the city is still accessible from the Financial District and great dining and beautiful views can still be found at the nearby Ferry Building or at the Embarcadero on the waterfront.”

Very interesting.

Very creative.

Very unique.

Very San Francisco.
