France has contributed to the enlightenment, romantic dreams and culinary delights of the world in a way that few countries have.
The world’s love affair with French films is well chronicled and we have seen dozens of them with great reviews.
In terms of a travel destinations, few tourist meccas rival France.
The global travel experts at Lonely Planet educate, “France is about world-class art and architecture. It seduces with iconic landmarks known the world over and rising stars yet to be discovered. This country's cultural repertoire is staggering – in volume and diversity.”
Wonderful. Well-stated.
Now for independent confirmation.
They add, “France is, after all, the world's top tourism destination with some 89 million visitors each year who flock to the land of the Gauls to feast on its extraordinary wealth of museums, galleries, ateliers (artist workshops) and hands-on cultural experiences.”
There you have it.
Given our love for the fully competitive female submission wrestling industry, in a country with over 67 million people, we would love to see more female submission wrestlers but we don’t.
Even in times past.
At DWW there were two girls in particular that stood out named Linda and Fatou but not many more.
We found this DVD at Amazon, “Fierce Competitive Wrestling 1: Sandrine vs Dina and Sandrine vs Nadia. Sandrine is a new wrestlers this champion has got a black belt in judo. Dina is a pretty dancer who is very good at wrestling. Nadia is a pretty black who also a new wrestler. This athletic lady is former judoka who practices many sports. You've got here two matches of great quality!”

Sounds like matches for a private library.
Which brings us close to modern day.
At the great Femwrestle Events in Troisdorf, Germany, there was a girl named Mary who wrestled a few times and here is what the management had to say about her, “Mary from France vs Szamanta from Hungary. Both first time at our live events and both most fans don’t know them. Mary is much taller but Sam is more muscular. This is a great rough match where no one knows beforehand who will win this fight.”
When travel to the WB270 and look at the women in France who are Session Girls, virtually all of them are muscle bound and don’t seem to be heavily involved in fully competitive submission wrestling.
Wait.
We found a gem.
In Antscha’s store there is a French girl named Tanya who did not wrestle much but given the limited number of French girls who wrestle competitively, we decided to chronicle Tanya for wrestling history.
TANYA VS NIKKI

We realize that Hungary’s Nikki is the more experienced girl and should win this match easily, but we are intrigued by the French angle and our research indicates that Tanya never wrestled much again so this is our one opportunity to be a part of history and see how well Tanya can compete.
This will be a submission match.
The match begins with upper body hand fighting and clasping for position.
Nikki wins the battle.
She encases Tanya in a head scissors and takes her down to the mats. She makes a great decision to keep her secured in the top and circles around the mat with Tanya trapped below. She then tightens the grip in an almost cross body pin like position and Tanya submits.
1-0 for Nikki (1:01).
The next round begins with the upper body and neck clinching again. Watching the two beauties pull and tug at one another, it becomes obvious that Tanya is quite taller than Nikki, possibly stronger.
Thus far she is not using that strength to her advantage.
Nikki is the first to secure a headlock but can’t get it to stick.
Tanya now takes control by catching Nikki off guard and encasing her with the early stages of a Guillotine Choke. Nikki thrusts and pushes Tanya back up against the wall as the taller French beauty grimaces as she tries to secure the choke.
She has it locked in pretty good as Nikki ferociously struggles to get out of it. Can Tanya hold it?
Unfortunately no.
Nikki breaks the hold and now Tanya struggles to figure out her next move.
She runs out of time.
Now it is Nikki who encases her in the arm behind the neck choke and tightens her grip. The Hungarian beauty adds a side body scissors as icing on the cake. Nikki’s experience is paying off as Tanya sees no escape and taps out.
2-0 for Nikki (2:30).
The next round begins as the second did with upper body and neck struggle.
Tanya is taller, possibly a little stronger so once again she gets off to a good start and even encases Nikki in a frontal choke but can’t close. Nikki breaks free but Tanya remains on top of her. Even though she is on top, Tanya is the one struggling to gain a footing and secure an advantage.
Now, she might have the break she is looking for.
Nikki makes a mistake and gives up her back. Tanya seizes upon that, grabs her from behind and goes for some form of a rear naked choke.
And loses it.
What is becoming clear is that Tanya has been taught the holds but she doesn’t have the experience to forcefully execute them.
Tanya makes another gallant but vain attempt at a submission hold with a side body scissors but she can’t tighten the leg grip. Nikki breaks the hold and pushes Tanya backward and is now on top of her.
The two beautiful girls struggle on the mats.
Nikki wins that struggle.
Of course.
She now has Tanya’s back and pulls her into a choke and behind the back body scissors.
Then squeezes hard. Tanya grimaces and even struggles for the moment but the inevitable outcome occurs.
Tanya sighs and taps.
3-0 for Nikki (4:40).
The Hungarian Princess has now completely figured out Tanya and is opening up the playbook. She doesn’t have to open it too far because what she is doing is already working.
Once again, the girls are engaged in upper body hand fighting and behind the neck struggle and once again Nikki wins that struggle.
She now has Tanya bent over (gorgeous look), and she is on top of her with her head pointing towards Tanya’s backside and her legs firmly squeezing Tanya in a python grip. In a smooth movement she roles her to the side, squeezes and it’s curtains.
Tanya taps.
4-0 Nikki (6:00).
Before we give up and sense a runaway, there may be hope. Nikki herself.
We have researched and written about Nikki previously.
She is incredibly good looking and has been around the scene for some time, works with the most elite competitive female wrestling group in the world with Antscha’s team and yet, even when she fights outside of the pond, on a scale of 1-10, with ten being the highest and most elite, we would give Nikki a 4-5.
Here is part of the reason why.
She is thoroughly beating Tanya to the punch and riding high with confidence and then she does something very puzzling like literally lower her head, going forward and strolling right into a Guillotine Choke by Tanya.
She gave it to Tanya on a silver platter.
It’s not like Tanya orchestrated some clever moves, tricked and trapped her.
Nikki gave it to her.
That speaks to a lack of concentration. Against newer Tanya, she can get away with that and still win the match.
Against better wrestlers? Don’t count on it. Here, Nikki submits.
4-1 for Nikki (6:30).
The next round will see if Nikki is ready to close the match out.
She is.
The two joust up top once again but Nikki easily wins that struggle. She bends Tanya’s head downward and traps her in a behind the neck choke along with a floor to bended body scissors for emphasis.
The rest is easy.
5-1 for Nikki. (7:10).
Just as we think Nikki is about to assert her dominance, she falls asleep at the wheel again.
The blonde beauty, on her knees, literally walks into Tanya’s body for a Guillotine Choke.
Literally.
That was so easy, thus Tanya seizes the opportunity and wails with a warrior’s spirit and Nikki quickly taps out.
5-2 for Nikki.
Tanya is tired but Antscha, serving as referee, doesn’t believe in rest between rounds. She informs them there is two minutes left. “Go”. 8:00
This is Nikki’s to win but will she win it on style points or keep walking into Guillotine Chokes?
She almost does again.
Tanya could lock her up with a reverse head scissor as she is on top of Nikki but her legs just aren’t strong enough and Nikki breaks the hold.
The two gorgeous girls are tiring and continue to break one another’s holds.
Nikki has one last chance at a floor to bending body scissors and squeezes but the juice appears to be out of the legs.
Antscha calls time and praises the beautiful girls for a very good match.
We agree.
A girl wrestler from France who competes, is always deserving of praise.
