Festelle Classic, British Grapplers, New Girl Silva Vs Curvy Legend Vixen

Most history will be forgotten.

That is a sobering thought.

As an example, how many people do you remember from 1923?

You can probably count them on one hand.

If so, what did they dress like? What was their career? How much of their life story do you know? Who was their first love? Where did they travel to and how?

We could go on.

The lesson they we have learned is, while you are alive, preserve the history that you do remember and deeply appreciate it right now, in the present, because when you pass away, it will pass away with you.

This classic match, found at Festelle Video AS2-1, features Vixen and Silva.

Vixen is one of our favorite girlie girls of all times. She is incredibly gorgeous, classy, curvy and is extremely sexy when she gives her best but gets dominated.

Has it really been almost ten years ago? We’re glad we kept a record on it.

Today, in our match review, Vixen is facing a brand new girl named Silva.

Typically that would bode well for the veteran here in Vixen but Silva is not your typical newbie. How so?

Let us count the ways.

She’s tall, sports a bald look, a ring in her nose and a Goth black laced artistic feel.

Part of the fantasy attraction here would be if a very civilized and spoiled curvy British girl offended a street girl, apologized but the street chick with the Goth look wouldn’t let it go. She begins to attack the shapely feminine beauty who has to defend herself and in the setting they find themselves in, no one is going to stop this fight. Our British princess refuses to be a victim and fights back but will it be enough?

Did we mention they were wearing bikinis?

With that back drop, it is time to review the classic Festelle match between Vixen and Silva.

The match takes place in a room with producers from the past and female wrestlers in the audience.

Vixen is first introduced and, as she often is, filled with smiles. Silva is introduced and is outwardly cheering as well.

Once they begin to wrestle, let’s see if all of the cheer holds up.

Commence wrestling now. That is the mandate and the two beautiful women begin.

They grasp one another and circle around trying to attack the other down to the mats.

Silva wins that battle and lands on top of Vixen as she claps the beautiful brunette’s wrists. The shapely Vixen struggles underneath.

Thus far, the new girl is doing pretty good.

Vixen uses her experience to try and trap Silva in a floor to sitting body scissors. Silva counters by standing and bending Vixen over, almost in a back breaking position. Silva keeps the pressure on by clasping Vixen behind the head and pressuring her into a folding position.

As they struggle, they get closer and closer to the corner and have to break.

The girls come back to the center.

As they engage, Silva gets the upper hand once again and forcefully takes the shapely feminine brunette down to the mats. Silva is very aggressive and once again sits on top of Vixen as she clasps her wrists.

The sweet feminine British girl struggles underneath.

This goes on for some time until Silva moves forward with her knee on Vixen’s left shoulder.

Vixen breaks the hold.

Silva is quickly back upon her. They bear hug one another and once again Silva takes Vixen down to the ground. Vixen is able to grasp her in a headlock but she is doing so from the bottom. Silva ignores that and focuses on Vixen’s neck area. Painfully pushing Vixen’s head backwards.

Vixen taps out.

1-0 for Silva (5:05).

The two engage again and Silvia is all over feminine Vixen. There is a break in the action when Silva pulls both of Vixen’s arms backwards and she screams. Fortunately she is not hurt.

They resume battle and Silva maintains control from the top.

They struggle for some time as Silva continues to ride a squirming Vixen.

For a minute they come up to their feet as Silva package wraps Vixen’s arms and takes her back down again.

The audience has been cheering Vixen on to break the holds but Vixen continues a self-destructive pattern that has plagued her throughout her brief career.

She talks too much.

She smiles a lot.

Giggles a ton as well.

Great for girl’s night out but not so much inside the female mat wars.

Silva holds down Vixen’s wrists and won’t let go. Silva now is trying to mount Vixen who locks the slender girl into a floor to sitting body scissors. Back in the early 2000s, female submission wrestlers didn’t work out as much at the gym so Vixen’s legs appear to lack the power to close the deal.

The short haired beauty does something unexpected and flips Silva over, is on top, but Vixen’s residency at the top is temporary.

Silva rolls back on top of her.

Now, the newness of Silva is finally starting to show. She has constantly kept Vixen on her back but has only one submission to show for it.

To Vixen’s credit, she holds on to that body scissors, which slides into a head scissor, keeping Silva trapped.

Silva breaks the scissor hold.

The taller girl is now on top, elongated, facing Vixen’s ankles while Vixen is trapped underneath with her head facing the other way.

Silva traps Vixen in a back breaker as the British girl howls and Silva apologizes and let’s go.

The two girl’s movement becomes stagnant and the producer calls for a break (10:30).

They take a break and Vixen is all smiles. Whether she wins or loses, she will be happy.

Well, that’s one way of looking at it.

As they engage, Vixen leaps upon Silva and snaps her with a body scissor. Silva remains upright and slowly takes Vixen down to the mats and begins to fold her once again.

Now she spreads Vixen’s legs apart in a wide folding pin. Vixen appears to be in pain and the producer stops it.

We don’t know if that was called a submission but we’re going to call it that.

2-0 for Silva (12:37).

As they engage again, Vixen seems to be married to that ill-fated floor to standing scissors, this time around Silva’s neck and none of that is working. All that happens is Silva moves forward and begins to fold Vixen like a tent.

She’s doing it again.

They reach a stalemate of sorts, Vixen with the weak scissors around Silva’s neck and Silva folding Vixen over.

Sylva breaks Vixen’s hold and is now in control, bending the gorgeous shapely girl over once more.

Bending.

Bending some more.

Vixen taps out.

The match has ended,

Silva is called the winner at 2-0, so the earlier submission we charted apparently was not one.

SUMMARY

At FCI, we keep a lot of articles unpublished in our library. This article was written March 1, 2023.

Much has changed since the gorgeous shapely British girl Vixen was wrestling during the 2014 era. In watching the match, we saw virtually no MMA holds applied. Today, even when newer girls wrestle, they know MMA.

It was nice to walk back in time and see some familiar faces in the background.

In terms of being a fully competitive match, that was not the major purpose here. Sometimes it’s nice to remember a beautiful female submission wrestler when she was a shining star on the scene.
