What would we do without our dogs?
They are so wonderful and absolutely another loved family member.
One who loves us without hesitation.
They make our life bearable when difficult. Joyful when sad. Relaxing when stressed.
One place that we enjoy relaxing with our precious pet is at the dog park.
San Francisco is a fresh aired city that really appreciates that important aspect of our lives.
There are pet lovers who have done some incredible research and are willing to share their knowledge with you. At 49miles.com they share:
“Located at the base of the windy Corona Heights Summit, which offers unobstructed 360-degree views for you and your pup to soak in on-leash, is the Corona Heights Park.
One of the largest fully-fenced, dog runs in San Francisco, Golden Gate Park’s Dog Training Area is located directly behind the Bison Paddock. This play area attracts large crowds on sunny days.
With an astro-turf and gravel surface mix, Mission Creek Dog Park is a well-maintained dog play area, with trees for shade and picnic tables for owners to hang out on.”

Our relationships with our dogs is mutually beneficial. Every day we live that. We have a movie for you that proves it as well.
A Dog's Purpose is a 2017 American comedy-drama adventure film directed by Lasse Hallström and written by W. Bruce Cameron, Cathryn Michon, Audrey Wells, Maya Forbes and Wally Wolodarsky, based on the 2010 novel of the same name by W. Bruce Cameron.
The film, like the book, tells the story of Toby, a devoted dog who is looking for his rightful purpose and wants to fulfill it.
Here is the storyline.
In the 1950s, a feral puppy named Toby is born, wondering what life's true purpose is. Two weeks later, while playing with his siblings, Toby is whisked away to the dog pound and quickly euthanized, wondering if "fun" truly is life's purpose.
Toby's spirit is reincarnated as a newborn Golden Retriever puppy in 1961. Toby leaves his cage at a puppy mill and is found by two garbage men who plan to sell him. They leave to drink, and Toby is spotted locked inside their pick-up truck by a kindhearted mother and her son named Ethan, who rescues him from heatstroke. They bring the puppy home and introduces him to Ethan's father. After they convince Ethan's father, the puppy is allowed to stay and is renamed Bailey.
Our furry hero discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans.
He teaches us to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades he touches many.
So beautifully done. Fun too.
Which brings to a subject that we sometimes don’t want to think about, let alone discuss, which focuses on our health and the protection we need for it.
Health insurance. Few subjects are more frightening and stressful. But oh so necessary.
Have you discussed or purchased health insurance for your dog? It truly is something to think about and perhaps act upon.
We have a visiting group that offers pet insurance with some thoughtful ideas.
