Fitness Extraordinaire Megan Roup, Sculpted Perfection

August 19, 2021,

Inspiration, creativity and patience are the partners in the artistic effort to create a beautiful sculpture.

Sculptures with a personal message can follow us through a lifetime.

Sculptures fall into four basic creative categories: molded, cast, carved or assembled.

The elements that an artist uses for molded sculptures include clay, wax, papier-mache and plaster. Cast sculptures involve modeling the sculpture, then making a mold and casting it in a metal or other medium.

It is very involved but when the finished masterpiece is done, it was well worth it.

Sculpting your body to fit the mold that you greatly desire may not be easy but it could be the greatest masterpiece that you will create.

Even though we may be inspired, creative and patient, sometimes we still need help.

That’s where Megan Roup comes in.

Round of applause please. You should have heard of her by now. At least according to Vogue Magazine.

At vogue.com  they praise, “You’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t seen Megan Roup grace your feed. Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, and Shanina Shaik have used Roup’s workout, The Sculpt Society, to prep for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and Lais Ribeiro was paired with the former Brooklyn Nets dancer for the official “Train Like An Angel” video series. The class is divided into portions that include dance cardio, ankle weights, sliders, and light hand weights. Roup does the entire workout along with the class, which can be taken at Studio B, Project by Equinox, and online on Obé.”

Thanks for the heads up. Very good to know.

They add that Los Angeles may be considered the wellness capital of the country, but New York City still has plenty of places to sweat.

Very glad of that.

Between gyms, with all the amenities and top level instructors with thousands of followers on Instagram, there is something for everyone, including your favorite models and celebrities.

Victoria’s Secret’s beauties flock to Megan Roup’s dance cardio classes and afterwards promptly share their wonderful experiences their Social Media accounts.

Stars such as Jennifer Aniston and Naomi Watts find solace at The Class by Taryn Toomey.

We love to star gaze.

The dynamic team at join harpersbazaar.com in the praise, “Megan Roup founded the cult-favorite cardio class The Sculpt Society, which utilizes fun dance moves mixed with high-rep toning exercises to get you in the best shape of your life. But you don't have to live in NYC or belong to a fancy gym to get in on the action: Roup's The Sculpt Society app brings her signature workouts to you anywhere.”

That’s what we love about her product.

As of this August 2021 writing, her opening dance video header promises a dynamic experience.

You should check it out.

It is very online friendly and who better to tell us about what she has to offer than Megan herself, starting with her own story.

She smiles at thesculptsociety.com , “The Sculpt Society began with my personal journey to feeling empowered through movement. I understand what most women have felt in their life. I am you, I've been there and I can relate to knowing what it feels like to be uncomfortable in my own body.

After years of torturing myself in the gym, it wasn't until I found dance based fitness that things shifted. I truly began to gain a sense of strength and freedom within myself, I was finally having FUN working out. I fell in love with the connections and impact I was having on other women and found support in the community.

With so much intimidation around dance cardio, I wanted to create The Sculpt Society for the non dancer. I simplify the dance cardio moves so that anyone at any level will feel successful. TSS is a fun, effective and empowering workout. I want you to feel your best self. I want you to stand in your body with confidence and strength. Come join TSS and experience this amazing community!”

Non dancers. That describes us. Nice to know we would be welcome there too.

Her customers certainly feel at home and love to talk about their experience with Megan. Here are two testimonials:

“Before Megan’s workout, it was very hard for me to find a balance between cardio and sculpting and I felt like I never got the results I would have liked to see. Once I started doing The Sculpt Society, my whole body changed and I was obsessed. It felt like I not only finally found the perfect workout, but also found the perfect stress relief. The dancing part put me in such a good mood and the sculpting gave me the abs I always dreamed of. I’ve never been so consistent with any other workout. And even after two years. It’s still my favorite workout online and in the studio.”

Here is another.

“I’ve tried almost every work out class and I’ve never loved a class as much as Megan’s The Sculpt Society. It’s the perfect balance of cardio and sculpting. Whether I am streaming or in the studio, I always look forward to it and finish with a good sweat and sore muscles.”

Being sore is a good thing. A sexy thing. You sexy thang you.

And finally a review from a media group.

The team at refinery29.com extols, “Let’s be honest. There are generally two kinds of people at workout classes: The people who want a fun, shake-it-up sweat session, but will only come by once a month or so. And then there are the dedicated addicts who will diligently keep coming week after week until they could do the workout in their sleep. Megan Roup’s Sculpt Society is fun (and tough) if you’re a haphazard joiner, but it’s really built for the latter kind of client.

Roup kicks off her classes, which have an ever-expanding following, with dance cardio. Then you transition into strength training moves, using signature sliding disks. You’ll do a round of abs, then sculpt one leg at a time with an ab break in between legs. You can use the optional ankle weights if you're feeling really tough. She breaks up the sculpting and donkey kicks intentionally.”

They conclude with a word of advice, “Be prepared: During the strength training and leg lifts, you’re going to sweat. A lot.”

Yes, inspiration, creativity and patience are the partners in the artistic effort to create a beautiful sculpture.

With Megan as a partner, she can help you create the most beautiful sculpture of all.

One of you at your sexy best.
