Signing a long-term deal, a partnership between the athlete involved and the sports organization, is a sign that both are in good health.
Very attractive to others as well. Typically they previously had many suitors.
The athlete, primarily physically and the organization, financially.
Like a marriage, both are thinking of the future together as bright and promising.
As reported on October 5, 2020, the team at mmajunkie.usatoday.com reported, “Former UFC strawweight Jessica Aguilar has found a new home.
Aguilar, a former World Series of Fighting 115-pound champion and Bellator veteran, has signed an exclusive, long-term agreement with Xtreme Fighting Championships, officials announced Monday.”
Sounds exciting.
The career of Jessica Aguilar gives cause for high expectations.
The staff at the informative news source abc7news.com adds, “When Jessica Aguilar first made her professional fighting debut in 2006, major promotions didn't include women.
More than 15 years later, women headline cards for all major MMA organizations - thanks in part to trailblazing fighters like Aguilar.”
Very impressive. A trailblazer.
Let’s meet her.
Jessica Aguilar is a mixed martial artist who competes in the Xtreme Fighting Championships.
At the time of her voluntary departure from World Series of Fighting, she was the reigning WSOF Women's Strawweight Champion.
Ms. Aguilar previously competed for Bellator Fighting Championships and Ultimate Fighting Championship.
A very sturdy resume.
Jessica made her professional mixed martial arts debut on February 18, 2006 at Absolute Fighting Championships 15.
Outside of mixed martial arts, Aguilar currently manages franchise development for the Boca Tanning Club chain in Florida.
Okay, that’s one side of the marriage. Two need to contribute for it to be successful.
Let’s see what Xtreme Fighting Championships looks like with a wedding ring on.
Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) is a premier international mixed martial arts (MMA) organization based in Destin, Florida, Michigan, with offices throughout the United States and South America.
The XFC showcases both male and female fighters, advocates young MMA fighters, and produces stadium fight cards in various locations in the United States and South America, including Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, Michigan, Brazil, São Paulo, Campinas, and Araraquara.
Okay, so they are well traveled. Conquerors on the world scene.
Throughout 2006–2012, the XFC hosted 4–6 events per year, travelling around the United States and Greece.
In 2013, the company announced its new executive team, as well as a broadcast partnership with an open broadcaster in South America, Rede TV!.
This began the International Tournament & Super-Fight Series.
The unprecedented success of the 2014 Season I Series allowed the XFC to secure various partnerships with various global broadcasters, including Terra TV, HBO America, and UOL. The XFC featured more than 125 MMA fighters from 23 countries.
Okay, like the parents inviting them over for dinner, we like what we see.
No one is perfect though and we are wondering if they will be a good provider. Why?
After a 4-year hiatus, XFC has returned in late 2020, with a relaunch event, XFC 43, that took place on November 11, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia. Milpitas ca, Alfonso Montano.
Four years off the grid is a long time. How can we be sure that won’t happen again? We would love to see Jessica financially well taken care of.
In that regard there is great news.
Publicly Traded Xtreme Fighting Championships Initiates Capital Raise, Strategic Growth Plans
Proceeds to Fund Accelerated 2022 Fight Schedule, New Broadcast Partnerships, Miami HQ

MIAMI, Nov. 22, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC) announced today it has engaged an investment banker and raised the first of several expected equity and debt tranches that will fuel a planned 12-event live fight schedule in 2022 and 56 televised fights over the next 12 months. XFC recently filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC and plans to use the net proceeds for promotions and new fighter signings with its sights set on a targeted NASDAQ uplisting by the end of 2022.
Reemerging mid-COVID under new leadership and a roster of the next great MMA professional fighters, the XFC (OTC:DKMR) spent 2021 building its platform and network of international broadcast and pay-per-view partners to prepare for a 2022 strategic re-launch. The strategic plan approved by the Board includes:
- Creating a monthly fight schedule
- Launching the Company's first pay-per-view fights and its first international-hosted fights in a decade
- Partnering with a major sports betting brand to allow gambling and fan engagement opportunities on all XFC live pro fights
- Moving its corporate headquarters to Miami
- Monetizing its 45-fight catalog and related content featuring now-current UFC champions and dozens of high-profile fighters and fights.
"We've clearly weathered the headwinds of COVID as a live-sports league and also the challenges of a start-up as we worked to reestablish the XFC as a premier MMA fight league," said Steve Smith, Chairman and CEO of the XFC. "2021 laid the groundwork for a break-out year in 2022, and this capital raise positions the Company to unlock our aggressive growth and the insatiable demand by our fans for more and bigger fights. We look forward to continued investment by institutional investors and everyday fans alike as we rebuild the XFC into the powerhouse it once was and can be again."
XFC hosts its new fight – YoungGuns 4 – on Dec. 10 live from its former headquarters in Michigan. The Young Guns tournament will feature a co-main event and a return to the ring of Kenny "the Boss" Cross, as well as undefeated super prospect Austin Bashi. The fight in Grand Rapids, Mich. is expected to be its last in the market as the XFC moves to larger venues, including FTX Arena in Miami, where the XFC has moved its corporate headquarters.
"Michigan has birthed many of our greatest XFC fighters, and we know they will put on a show for the fans and for the hundreds of millions of households tuning in to YoungGuns 4," Smith added. "YoungGuns 4 will be a catalyst to launch the XFC into full attack mode in 2022, and we look forward to rewarding our investors, fighters and fans with not just great MMA fighting and content, but a strong and growing company and stock."
