There are not a lot of new stars being formed.
In the sky. The universe.
According to nasa.gov, “When it comes to making new stars, the party is almost over in the present-day universe. In fact, it’s been nearly over for billions of years. Our Milky Way continues to form the equivalent of one Sun every year. But in the past, that rate was up to 100 times greater. So if we really want to understand how stars like our Sun formed in the universe, we need to look billions of years into the past.”
Well, that’s a relief. At least suns are being formed in the sky.
Sons are being formed on earth.
Stars too. Especially on the Social Media.
TikTok, the clock is ticking. Soon another star will be formed.
Ring-a-ding-ding.
The earthly star universe continues to shine a bright light on super star Addison Rae.
Addison is an American social media personality, dancer, actress and singer.
In July 2019, she started actively posting content on TikTok, where her dancing videos rose in fame.
As of July 3, 2021, she has amassed over 81 million followers on TikTok, ranking as the fourth most-followed individual on the platform behind Charli D'Amelio, Khaby Lame, and Bella Poarch.
In August 2020, Addison was named as the highest-earning TikTok personality by Forbes Magazine.
She released her debut single, "Obsessed" in March 2021, and made her acting debut in He's All That, a remake of the 1999 film released by Netflix on August 27, 2021.
Now that is what you call star power.
How did she become one?
Addison first joined TikTok in July 2019, uploading dance videos to trending songs on the platform.
She has been part of the Hype House, a TikTok collaborative group, since its formation in December 2019.
In just a few months, our luminary gained over one million followers on TikTok and decided to leave LSU in November.
"I remember that's when it changed for me," Rae told Business Insider in April 2020. “I knew I wanted to take it more seriously and expand it to other platforms. I uploaded a video to YouTube and got really active on Instagram."
A family affair, Addison’s rapid success led her to signing with talent agency WME in January 2020, along with her parents.

Addison has partnered with American Eagle on the brand's campaign of #AExME Back to School '20 ads as the brand did their first virtual photoshoot that encompasses Addison shots in her bedroom due to the pandemic.
