November 4, 2022,

How is your MMA training going?

If you are a newer female wrestler, you should really get started if you desire to be competitive in today’s female submission grappling industry where most girls know these skills.

If you are a veteran female wrestler, it is always good to continue to upgrade. Stay in the game. Keep training.

We thought about this after reading about another great UFC female contest that is soon to happen.

As posted by ESPN, “Two of the top women's flyweight fighters in the world will meet in Brazil. Former UFC women's strawweight champion Jessica Andrade will face Lauren Murphy at UFC 283 on Jan. 21 in Rio de Janeiro, sources confirmed to ESPN.”

Sounds enticing.

Jessica is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist.

She is currently signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where she competes in the women's Flyweight division and is a former UFC Women's Strawweight Champion.

As of October 24, 2022, she is #4 in the UFC women's strawweight rankings, #6 in the UFC women's flyweight rankings, and #7 in the UFC women's pound-for-pound rankings.

Very impressive.

Her opponent Lauren has traveled a different road.

Lauren is an American professional mixed martial artist.

She currently competes in the Women’s Flyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Lauren formerly competed for Invicta FC where she is a former Invicta FC Bantamweight Champion. As of October 24, 2022, she is #4 in the UFC women's flyweight rankings.

Brazil and Alaska will meet.

Lauren grew up in a small town in Alaska.

Her father was killed in a plane crash when she was 11, causing issues that led to drinking, using drugs and dropping out of high school.

She attended nursing school but dropped out to pursue a career in mixed martial arts

In terms of her learning MMA, she has been quoted as expressing, “I took my son to a Jiu Jitsu class in late 2009, and I took the class with him to encourage him. I fell in love with it and started going all the time. I began training MMA about 3 months later, and took my first pro fight 3 months after that. I did not have any amateur fights.”

Hopefully she stays with this.

Maybe Lauren’s story might be encouragement to you to get your training started.

Let’s walk over to the book store.

Another girl that might be of inspiration to you is a Fem Competitor in our fully competitive female submission wrestling industry and she is gaining a lot of attention.

Her name is Kaos and she delivers a very un-chaotic beating to many of her opponents. We have purchased some of her videos at London’s great women’s wrestling venue, the Submission Room. https://www.thesubmissionroom.co.uk/

Here is a description of one of her videos found in their store.

“At a boxing ring in London, the very fabulous Kaos runs through a solo workout routine that shows off her incredible speed and agility. The video starts with Kaos warming up; watch as she stretches out her hamstrings and prepares for action.

After a couple of minutes of warmup she moves into her kicking routine, kicking towards the camera. Imagine that for a few minutes, you're in the boxing ring with her. Can you survive the power of her kicks? Can you dodge the speed of her punches?  You'll have to be faster than Kaos and that will be difficult.  As a trained fighter, Kaos has incredible speed and as the routine progresses, the intensity and speed of her workout increases. Soon the feet are a blur - only a few inches separates you from the power of Kaos's kicks and punches.

And with one final, dazzling combination of kicks and punches, it's all over. Kaos walks away from the camera with a smile on her face and you are left wondering what hit you, or in this case what might have hit you if it had been you in the ring instead of the camera.  Perhaps, this time, you had a lucky escape.”

Keep up the good work Kaos. It is paying off on the mats.

For you, is it time to start or upgrade your MMA training? When is the best time?

Do it now.

Life is about now.

Now is always a good time.
