UFC News, Danyelle Wolf Vs Chelsea Chandler, UFC Gym Milestone Achieved

February 3, 2023,

They are some of the fittest women in the world.

And the toughest.

UFC female fighters are expecting to have a big year in 2023.

The initial fight of focus features one Fem Competitor, who only has two fights, but very high expectations.

As reported by cagesidepress.com, “The UFC is looking to book another women’s featherweight fight, featuring Contender Series alum Danyelle Wolf entering the octagon for the second time.

Wolf (1-1), a decorated amateur boxer prior to transitioning to MMA, is expected to face Invicta FC vet Chelsea Chandler (5-1) at the UFC’s April 29, 2023 Fight Night event.”

Well, opportunity is certainly knocking for Danyelle.

Here is Danyelle’s highlight reel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sp1iHcFbp3c

As a boxer, she is formidable. Check it out.

Here is an exceptional interview that will give you some insight into Danyelle’s personality and how she feels about seizing opportunities and not being afraid to be on the world’s greatest stage. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVV3jbGfl8w

From the outside looking in, it is going to be really important to try and stay off of the ground and keep the fight in the striking realm.

Chelsea is someone most are more familiar with.

Chelsea Chandler competes in Bantamweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). A professional since 2018, she has also previously competed for Invicta Fighting Championships (Invicta FC).

So much of competing is about being fit. That certainly describes Chelsea who has an extensive sports background.

Chelsea played basketball and competed in track in high school.

In terms of her MMA ascent, she started training at Tiger Muay Thai, Thailand in 2011 and joined Nick Diaz's Academy after she finished college.

Her hard word has really paid off.

There is more UFC Female Fight news.

According to cbssports.com, “Valentina Shevchenko will look to continue her reign of terror in March. The UFC women's flyweight champion is set to defend her crown against a deserving challenger in the form of Alexa Grasso. Shevchenko (23-3) will make the eighth defense of her UFC women's flyweight championship, more than four years after winning the vacant title against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.”

Looking forward to that one.

Speaking about getting, being and staying fit, the UFC continues to expand, this time, working out at the gym.
