London Event, Pro Wrestler Luna K vs Experienced Grappler Cheetah

Give credit where credit is due.

Monica sure knows how to attract newer girls to her event venues that are attractive and fun to watch.

Luna K. is one of them.

This is our first time reviewing Luna K.

We have seen her previous match at this event and it reminded us of Big Time wrestling. No wonder. Those are her roots.

She is a beautiful girl with lots of charisma so we wanted to find out a little more about her.

We’re happy that she has decided to give fully competitive female submission wrestling a try.

Her opponent is well known on the English circuit in Cheetah, who has wrestled at Monica’s Center, often before. Our review of Cheetah is that she gives her best but is often on the losing end so here against Luna K. she has a chance to secure a victory.

We expect her too, especially since we don’t see any MMA training on Luna K’s resume.

CHEETAH VS LUNA K.

Our biggest concern with a matchup like this, especially with two girls who have gregarious personalities, is that if they chat and laugh too much, the match can lose its intensity and become a semi-competitive sparring session.

We hope that doesn’t happen here.

The key is Cheetah.

Luna will go wherever Cheetah takes this match. If Cheetah giggles and talks too much then, Lady Pro Wrestler Luna, will most likely join in. If Cheetah takes this match seriously to gain a rare victory, then Luna will most likely follow.

Luna enters, traversing the famous two story stairs at MWC in big time wrestling fashion, engaging the audience. Cheetah’s entrance was jovial but more subdued.

As they begin, they circle one another with miss attempts at wrist grabbing until Luna establishes control with an over hand headlock and take down, wrapping Cheetah in a head lock choke while she is on top of her.

Let’s see if this pro wrestler can close the deal.

She can’t.

Cheetah breaks the hold and as Luna tries to scramble away, she gives up her back, and Cheetah is quick to pounce and trap her in a standing to sitting rear naked choke. Luna withstands that until Cheetah makes a good decision to pull her backwards and choke but curiously is not combining that with a scissor which would end this portion very quickly.

That alone is one of the reasons why Cheetah loses to higher skilled wrestlers and MMA trained Fem Competitors.

Instead she is applying a one leg grapevine.

As Luna struggles, she positions herself where Cheetah can now apply that side body scissor with the choke and it is curtains. Luna taps out.

1-0 for Cheetah (3:47).

Great. It appears Cheetah is going to take this seriously. If she does, lacking in MMA skills, we’re not sure that Luna can hold up. We’ll see.

As they engage, a grappler, Luna lunges forward and encases Cheetah in a headlock and pushes her backwards. Cheetah responds with a floor to kneeling body scissor. Luna responds by trying to drive her elbows into Cheetah’s thighs to break the hold.

Luna stands, still in a scissor, which she could turn into a back breaker.

She doesn’t get the chance.

Cheetah uses her legs to take Luna down to the mats and the holds, by both wrestlers, are completely broken.

Time to start again (5:00).

Luna tries to be the aggressor in the next engagement, even standing over Cheetah for a minute but her inexperience betrays her as she falls right into Cheetah’s floor to standing body scissor which rolls into a side body scissor. Ouch. Luna quickly taps out.

2-0 for Cheetah (5:27).

As we reflect at this point, Cheetah is beginning to run away with this and our fear is that she is going to let up off the gas and this could turn into a talk fest. Hopefully not.

We’ll see.

As they begin, Luna performs a behind the neck arm wrap around on Cheetah and takes her down. Cheetah in response scissors Luna’s right leg to prevent a full mount.

This goes on for some time as Luna is on top, semi-choking Cheetah with a smother as well.

Then Luna starts talking to the audience about her hair, like at a pro wrestling match, which is cool, but maybe she should focus on a submission. Given her strong position, she might get one here.

Cheetah finally gets to her knees. “Well done Cheetah”, an audience member praises.

Luna takes her back down with that tough headlock and Cheetah, once again, scissors her right leg to prevent the full mount.

The bell sounds. Cheetah gets a break.

ROUND TWO

As they engage again, Luna banters with the audience, then lunges at Cheetah’s head and falls into the floor to standing body scissors trap. Cheetah pulls her backward and applies a rear naked choke as well. The combination of the two holds sends Luna to the gallows.

3-0 for Cheetah (9:00).

Next Luna tries to trap Cheetah from behind who out maneuvers her, pulls the beautiful pro wrestler down into a head scissor, from the bottom position, and traps Luna’s right leg to prevent a mount.

They stay tightly together in this position for some time.

The war of attrition begins.

The holds are eventually broken and Luna quickly traps Cheetah from above and behind with a rear naked choke as Cheetah is bent over in the turtle position.

Brilliant move but can the gorgeous brunette close the deal?

She tightens the squeeze on the sexy shapely Cheetah. One arm around the neck, the other covering Cheetah’s head and eyes.

Luna squeezes again and again with a warrior’s scream. Cheetah finally taps out. Wonderful move by Luna.

3-1 for Cheetah (11:53).

The two engage very carefully, grasping at one another’s wrists. Finally Cheetah grabs Luna’s right arm and attempts an arm lock with her legs.

Luna breaks the hold.

Cheetah tries to scramble away and in the process, gives up her back. To her credit, Luna immediately seizes the opportunity and traps Cheetah from behind and falls on top of the curvy beauty with a cross body pin and choke combination. Another great move.

Cheetah taps out with her leg.

3-2 for Cheetah.

Hmm, didn’t see this coming. The gorgeous Lady Pro is now closing the gap and has become very aggressive. Will Cheetah’s experience come through or will she tighten up and become more passive?

There is a reason why, according our research, Cheetah has a losing record.

Time to tell.

They engage slowly at hand and wrist grabbing.

Cheetah is somewhat passive. She is going to let Luna make the mistake. Sometimes that works.

Like now.

Cheetah is sitting on the floor with her strong legs outward. Luna grabs her ankles and tries to flip Cheetah over into a backbreaker. Good idea. Poor execution. Not strong enough to do it.

Instead she falls between Cheetah’s legs for that brutal scissor which turns into a side body scissor and stick a fork in Luna.

She’s done.

4-2 for Cheetah (14:00)

The bell sounds. Round two is over.

ROUND THREE

It goes without saying that Luna absolutely needs to get a quick submission here, but we’re going to say it anyway.

Cheetah plays it passive and lets Luna lunge towards her. She traps Luna’s right leg in a scissor but Luna leaps out of it and is instantly on top of the curvy beauty. This is the weakness of trying to scissor your opponent from the floor position. If they break the hold, as Luna did here, they are right on top of you.

Luna begins to apply a wrist lock.

She actually does know MMA holds.

Cheetah doesn’t give.

She stays on top of Cheetah for a while deciding what to do and when Cheetah breaks the hold, Luna immediately traps her in a frontal Guillotine Choke and squeezes Cheetah into a scissor as well. Luna screams her warrior squeeze, twice, and Cheetah taps out.

Well, well, well.

4-3 for Cheetah (16:05).

They spar gently. Cheetah now is more aggressive and forces the issue as Luna makes the mistake of giving up her back as she tries to scramble away. Cheetah swiftly takes advantage of that and traps Luna in rear naked choke and body scissor, securing the match victory.

Now it is perfunctory with little time left on the clock.

5-3 for Cheetah (16:48).

That is what aggression will do for you.

Luna decides to be aggressive, by standing up, charging forward, but once again she runs the risk of falling right into Cheetah’s waiting legs. Cheetah scissors Luna’s right leg to prevent a mount, then uses her strength to position herself on top of Luna.

Luna rolls her and is back on top.

Luna frees her leg and falls forward on top of Cheetah with her head facing Cheetah’s legs and her stomach on Cheetah’s upper torso as she tries a headlock and smother.

Cheetah lies helplessly underneath.

This goes on for some time.

Luna provides that warrior scream and Cheetah passively taps out.

Perfunctory this is not. Luna came to play and play to win.

5-4 for Cheetah (19:23).

They are both circling from the standing position and both are aggressive in attacking one another. Finally Luna makes the mistake of giving up her back and Cheetah is ready to take advantage with a top headlock. This could be trouble.

But not today.

The bell sounds.

The match is over.

SUMMARY

First off, we have to admit we underestimated Luna’s wrestling skills. She has a good basic foundation but needs more experience to avoid falling into leg scissors and giving up her back.

Still, the beautiful Euro Princess is off to a great start.

She is a pro wrestler and gave this a try. We really applaud that. This is, in part, what we really love about fully competitive female submission wrestling. As long as it is competitive, and it was today, it becomes a great match.

Cheetah should be proud that, as a veteran, she withstood the new girl’s charge.

A victory is a victory.
