Female Grapplers, Raise Your Energy Level For Intense Victories

May 26, 2023,

In sporting engagements, you can always tell, during a competition, who has the most energy and passion.

In football. It is usually the home team.

They play much better there.

The power of the crowd energizes them.

Like in the masterful film Gladiator, to have an infusion of energy, you must “win” the crowd.

In basketball it is clearly about energetic aggression and who has the most of it.

In our great fully competitive female submission wrestling industry, we have viewed thousands of women’s wrestling video tapes. And you know what? The majority of the time, regardless of skill, we can tell who has the most energy and who does not.

If you are a female grappler reading this, focus on bringing energy to your matches. Can your energy level improve? Much of it is about what you eat but most of it is about what you think.

A legendary singer once told us so.

How do you like it, how do you like it?

The legendary disco singer Andrea True sure made a global connection when she sang with passion her 1976 classic, More, More, More.

How do we like it? We love it.

She was talking about love.

We’re talking about female wrestling energy. We need more, more, more. Never can get enough of it.

With an abundance of energy, time for a division of labor.

The team at psychologytoday.com share, “We can fill our energy tanks more fully and frequently, or we can spend our energy more strategically. One or both is crucial if we want to bring our strongest, most productive energy to our most important work and life experiences.”

In our everyday lives we are constantly looking for sources of energy.

Energy for our body, cars, homes and companies.

As important, we look for ways to sustain and renew it.

On a singular planet with a mushrooming population acquiring and renewing energy is vital.

What is a fantastic energy source?

Some Vitamin B sure helps from time to time.

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) supports mental wellbeing and mood, Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin) helps reduce oxidative stress (and therefore tiredness), Vitamin B3 (Niacin) has been shown to be effective in supporting brain functions and Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) helps support important neurotransmitters (brain chemicals).

What do many of us desire that energy for?

To achieve and accomplish more in a 24 hour day. To live life to the fullest every day.

Now, if only we could have more than 24 hours in a day. If we harness our energy efficiently, 24 hours should be plenty.

In the fully competitive female submission wrestling industry, have you seen the beautiful German girl Kiniku wrestle? You should watch her compete. She has so much energy her matches are like watching a pinball machine at the higher levels.

Look her up. She is a ton of fun.

At her profile she engages in mixed wrestling.

Our German is not great but she says “words to the effect”, “Myself I like to fight and play, to show you my strength and to feel your weakness. We can challenge our strength (competitive* depending on your weight), we can lift and carry** each other (depending on your weight).”

No matter the case, her engagement will be full of energy.

According to the US National Library of Medicine, “Nutrition can help enhance athletic performance. An active lifestyle and exercise routine, along with eating well, is the best way to stay healthy.

Eating a good diet can help provide the energy you need to finish a race, or just enjoy a casual sport or activity. You are more likely to be tired and perform poorly during sports when you do not get enough:”

  • Calories
  • Carbohydrates
  • Fluids
  • Iron, vitamins, and other minerals
  • Protein

That was the female submission wrestling world.

What about the girl’s freestyle world.

The world of high school girl wrestlers and the NAIA are filled with talented young women who have a bright future on and off the wrestling mats.

Talent may take you a long way but dynamic energy will take you much further.

As a result of the dynamic energy and growing popularity of girl’s freestyle wrestling, the University of Iowa, a Power Five school, now has a women’s wrestling program, in part, sponsored by the UFC.

Very impressive.

We like to impress you. In terms of personal energy, we found this book to be impressive.

Let’s walk over to the bookstore.

Work Energy: Finish Everything You Start and Fearlessly Take On Any Goal Paperback – December 13, 2019

By Jim Harmer (Author)

“What's Your Work Energy?

It was only nine years ago that Jim Harmer worked at a dollar store, stocking shelves while struggling through law school. He had worked hard for his goals, but there was no assurance in sight that he would ever achieve them.

During that year, he learned a key truth that changed the way Jim viewed himself. He found the one unique quality inside him- one we all have- that gave him a reason to work. He didn’t know it then, but that secret ingredient was his Work Energy.

Now, after creating a digital brand that has attracted over 70 million people and made him financially free, Jim has constructed the framework behind his success. Within this book, you will discover your own Work Energy: the drive behind everything you do and the reason you can take on any goal.

Jim Harmer is the founder of Improve Photography and several other successful blogs. His current company, Income School, has helped thousands provide for their families through blogging and YouTubing. Jim lives in Star, Idaho, with his wife, Emily, and their three children.”

Very insightful. Inspiring even.

As a female grappler, is wrestling work for you? Perhaps not in the literal sense. It is voluntary but, in all fairness, you are being paid.

So, an argument could be made that it is work. True?

And that is fine. So what are we saying? When you get on those mats? Go to work.

Wrestle with high energy.
