Mat Classic, San Francisco’s Amy O Vs Euro BSA Champion Svetlana, Culture Trip

SPOILER ALERT – ENDING MATCH SCORE REVEALED

If you are going to pick a fight, we’re not sure you would start with one of the formidable DWW Black Sea Amazons.

Virago’s famous Amy O, had decided to fly to Europe and challenge the DWW girls.

Very noble female wrestling cause. To be the best, you have to beat the best.

Says who?

If it were us, our first opponent might be Michaela, Ildi or possibly Renata B.

At least with those beauties, you stand a chance of winning.

But Svetlana? A former Black Sea Amazon, the forerunner to the very violent female MMA extreme fighting. Not only are you probably going to lose, but lose painfully.

And publicly.

Oh well, it is what it is.

What we love about Amy O, is that she was always very positive. Super optimistic.

Even after her stomach got crunched.

Today, against Svetlana, she will need all of the optimism she can get.

Some good wrestling skills would help as well.

AMY O vs SVETLANA

It is a bright sunny day in Europe and with Amy at 28 and Svetlana at 23, they are in the prime of their fighting youth.

Adorned in bright red, Amy is standing in between two legends in Nadege of Belgium and Susanne of Germany. As usual the gorgeous San Francisco Bay Area resident has a look of complete optimism. Her body is stealth and perfect. The background is filled with luscious greenery under the famous DWW tent.

This would be the second match of the day.

The legendary Jeff the Ref introduces them in this highly anticipated fight.

There is a great buzz in the air as the two shake hands.

As the action begins, the two perfectly stealth warriors from two different countries circle one another. It is obvious this is not their first rodeo. Only the experienced need apply, in this one.

Amy immediately leaps at Svetlana’s head and neck area but misses. Svetlana simply brushes the San Franciscan aside as the two start grabbing at one another and reaching for their necks which turns into hard hand slaps that resonate the space.

This is right up Svetlana’s alley.

Amy leaps again and locks up Svetlana’s neck and both girls tumble to the mats. Unfortunately for Amy, Svetlana is on top. Not a position you want to be in with a BSA Warrior. You may never get up in one piece.

The struggle is on.

They circle around on the mats with Amy in gridlock and by the grimace on her face, a measure of pain as well. She wraps her legs around Svetlana’s right one to prevent a full mount.

Good move.

That’s okay for Svetlana who has trapped Amy in a brutal headlock and squeezes while she bends Amy, folding her into an excruciating position. The taller woman is also trying to trap Amy’s leg arm between her legs.

It works.

With Amy all wrapped up, Svetlana crunches that headlock and Amy’s face is obviously in pain.

The beautiful American taps out.

1-0 for Svetlana (3:23).

SECOND ROUND

During the break Svetlana rests in a chair while Amy, in her own corner, stands, bends over and stretches the crunch out.

Time to go again.

They circle one another. Svetlana has a wry smile on her face. Amy is going for the legs, including a potential leg trip while Svetlana is moving like a boxer, waiting her opening.

She gets it.

Amy leaps at her again and locks but she is much taller than Amy so this approach is to Svetlana’s advantage and once again she falls on top of Amy.

The porcelain beauty is in trouble.

Once again Svetlana tightens that headlock and crunches. Amy has no choice except to tap out.

2-0 for the BSA star (5:41).

ROUND THREE

Brimming with confidence, Svetlana relaxes in her corner.

Amy is standing in hers, getting advice from Grace who is dressed in black athletic wear.

Time to re-engage.

They circle and head slap one another. Amy leaps and traps Svetlana in a headlock. The audience cheers, except all that is going to happen, is what happened before. Sure, Amy has her in a headlock but Svetlana is just too strong and falls on top of Amy, just like before. A headlock from the bottom is almost worthless. You have to be on top.

Amy is in trouble again.

When you look at a fight like this, you wonder, what is it that Amy can do?

Good question.

This is not the time period of arm bars, joint locks and chokes. Even if it were, given that Svetlana is a BSA veteran, she would have the advantage there anyway.

The taller beauty is all over Amy who is desperately fighting from beneath. Soon Amy is trapped in a side body scissor but manages to escape.

Amy is trying to buck the experienced European off but Svetlana has too firm a grip and too much experience fighting from the top. Amy is in deep trouble once more as Svetlana now has a full mount, sitting on Amy’s stomach and chest area. Svetlana inches forward and turns the potential smother into a side body scissor, crunches and Amy is finished.

3-0 for the BSA star (8:29).

FOURTH ROUND

Amy goes back to her corner and Nadege and Grace both give her advice. Then someone from the audience gives advice as well.

We can’t see how any of that advice is going to work.

Amy smiles and stretches doing a self-folding pin.

Amy is always polite.

Bent over and folded over like that, it is a beautiful sight.

Very sexy Zen like.

Typically DWW matches are three falls for victory but this one is staged for time. When the clock strikes the finish tone, the match is over, no matter the score.

Amy goes back out and begins on her knees and stays there. The idea appears to be to trip Svetlana and try to get on top of her. Sounds good in theory. In reality Svetlana circles Amy and keeps slapping her upside the head.

Reality hurts.

Amy has enough and leaps at Svetlana, takes her down and actually falls on top of her. The audience applauds. It is only for the moment as Svetlana is just too strong for the ivory princess. The Euro star is back on top of Amy. The combination of a headlock and smother is too much for the Virago star and Amy taps out.

4-0 for Svetlana (10:41).

ROUND FIVE

It actually was an accidental choke, but no matter.

Once they start again, Amy goes down to her knees and you can hear someone in the audience, by the camera, spontaneously laugh at Amy’s ill-advised approach. He continues to laugh.

Soon Svetlana is all over Amy. Hey, if Amy is already in a submissive position, why not take advantage of it. Svetlana does indeed. They struggle and Svetlana traps Amy in a floor to standing (Amy bent over) body scissor. She then turns Amy around and falls on top of her.

Someone in the audience is yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs.

Another simply says, “Come on Amy”.

That’s deep.

Deep indeed.

Amy is in deep trouble as Svetlana is on top of her again. From potential cross body to school girl spins, all from the top position, Svetlana is opening up the playbook. She finally settles on a smother and pin position, flattening and grasping Amy’s arms at the wrist.

Amy is counted out at five.

5-0 for Svetlana (12:10).

Interestingly, Jeff calls the final score at 4-0, so the accidental choke was probably not counted. At any rate, it was a total domination for the European warrior. Poor Amy just didn’t stand a chance. She is a good sport and casually walks back over to her chair. Beautiful Grace, disrobes down to a black bikini and apparently is the next San Francisco Bay Area (victim) batter up.
