September 6, 2023,
We are reviewing this match because of what these two girls did in other matches.
Justice has always been one of our favorites. Her gorgeous full legs are to die for. She has the right balance of being feminine and athletic.
The last time we reviewed one of her matches, she was totally dominated by Mystique. We came to the conclusion that we completely underestimated Mystique and let our affection for Justice influence our view of her wrestling.
We have not seen Willow as much, but we do that she only lost to former DWW great Kimbra, 0-2. That is saying a lot. Willow is no novice.
Justice is not Mystique. How close is she to Willow?
Time to find out.
JUSTICE VS WILLOW
The two beautiful athletes are standing, shake hands and then go down to their knees.
As they begin hand fighting, Justice is a little more passive so Willow takes her down with a headlock.
Appreciate that.
Justice is now flat on her back and uses her arms to fence Willow off, who is sitting in Justice’s chest area, deciding what to do. Instead of using her larger body to go for a smother, Willow reverts the position into a floor to sitting body scissor. We’re not crazy about that move as Justice drives her elbows into Willow’s knees. While Justice is not Mystique, we would be surprised, given her experience, that she would submit to that escapable hold so easily.
Willow continues to apply the floor to sitting scissor.
Bent over, Justice now gets to her knees.
Willow keeps the scissor and rolls Justice over against the wall.
On top of Justice, Willow begins a pin count but cannot sustain it. She rolls Justice back into a floor to sitting scissor, only she captures Justice by the head and neck area.
Justice is struggling but not in serious trouble.
She breaks the hold.
The experienced wrestler now falls on top of Willow. That is always the risk of the floor to sitting scissor. If your opponent breaks the hold, gravity will take her down on you in the top position.
Justice is now on top.
She is pushing down on Willow’s neck, scissors her right arm but Willow is refusing to give. Justice lets go of the hold. Willow responds by trying yet another floor to sitting body scissor.
Both girls are showing their inexperience and lack of closing skills.
Justice remains on top, driving her elbow into Willow’s throat while Willow scissors her right leg, preventing a full smother. Justice finally makes the right move and pulls Willow backwards into a rear naked choke and semi-body scissor. She squeezes tight. Willow struggles but she is in trouble. With no escape, the statuesque beauty taps out.
1-0 for Justice (5:46).
They go back to their knees.
The two beauties begin with hand fighting. Once again, Willow is the aggressor but this time with better technique and a purpose. She quickly takes Justice down with a right arm bar and brutal waist scissor combination. Much better. In pain, Justice quickly taps out.
1-1 (6:25).
Time to begin again.
Justice is the more aggressive one as she head hunts. Both are reaching at one another with no hold firmly set. Willow is focused on a reverse head scissor, misses a couple of times and finally gets it. She traps Justice in a head scissor while Justice is on top with her head facing south to Willow’s feet.
She is indeed caught in a head scissor trap.
Can she get out of it?
She does.
Then Justice goes on offense, capturing Willow from behind. They struggle around until Justice acquires the position she wants and applies a tight choke. Willow taps out.
2-1 for Justice (8:16).
Now it is Willow’s turn to be the aggressor. She is trying to capture Justice in the head and neck area, almost does so, from the bottom position, with a triangle choke and misses. Justice pulls out and is now on top. The curvy British girl has options as she places her forearm across Willow’s throat.
Willow appears to be the stronger of the two and pushes Justice to the side. Justice seems to muse that if Willow likes the side, she will trap her in a side body scissor. Good idea but the scissor is weak. Willow comes back up to her knees and has a great chance of breaking the hold.
Justice lets go of the hold and sits on top of Willow.
Not good enough.
Willow completely gets out of the hold and now is reverse sitting on Justice’s torso. In a surprise move, Justice scissors Willow, from the bottom position, but tight, and Willow taps out.
3-1 for Justice (10:16).
The two beauties begin with hand fighting. Gingerly. Willow tries to push Justice backwards and then goes for the often ill-fated floor to sitting body scissors.
She misses.
This allows Justice to fall right on top of her. Encircle her in a behind the neck head lock but it is a loose one. Willow is stronger so she pushes her way back up to the top. They both have one another in mutual weak head locks, Justice from the bottom.
Right now it is a stalemate.
The sweat is starting to glisten off of Willow’s back as they stay locked in struggle.
The top position is always the strongest. Justice taps out.
3-2 for Justice (12:28).
They slowly move towards one another.
Justice’s back is glistening with sweat as well.
Justice leaps for a behind the neck headlock but Willow is first to capture Justice left arm in an arm bar and then uses her strong legs to trap Justice in a painful waist scissor. Justice immediately taps out.
3-3 (13:32).
They begin similar as before. Justice leaps for the behind the neck grab and misses. Willow tries for a floor scissors and misses. They struggle with Justice circling around to try and avoid the scissor and then they start over again.
They engage and end up locking one another’s legs and ankles. Without much success. Willow is stronger so she pushes Justice over and slides on top with a form of a cross body pin. Advantage Willow.
Let’s see what she does with it.
She does well.
In the absence of Justice scissoring one of Willow’s legs, the taller princess performs a full elongated frontal mount on Justice from the top and adds a grapevine hold as well. Justice breaks the grapevine hold but Willow continues to apply pressure from the top. Justice uses her forearm to block a smother. Willow sits on top of Justice, grabbing her arms trying to decide what to do.
The ball is still in her court.
Justice has her arms folded, trying to block a smother and Willow cleverly grabs Justice’s right arm, rolls to her side and captures Justice in a painful scissor. Great thinking. Justice taps out.
4-3 for Willow (16:40).
Time to start.
They begin with some hand to hand initiation. Then Willow lowers her head (rarely a good move, right into a Triangle Choke) and bull rushes Justice backwards. Justice stays upright. Willow lowers her head again and this time Justice makes her pay for it with a left arm wrap around headlock, bringing Willow forward and down to the mat. Locked in the headlock, Willow taps out.
4-4 (17:43).
As they engage, this time it is Justice who lowers her head and Willow captures her in a form of a Triangle Choke. Justice responds with another wrap around headlock. From the top position. Who has the stronger hold? The top position usually does. Willow taps out.
Her comeback is cut short. Down 1-3, Willow made a great comeback attempt, once up 4-3. Still, Justice had just a little bit more moxie to secure the 5-4 victory. The girls are evenly matched and this one could have continued to go back and forth.
Well done match.
