November 2, 2023,
There is something to cheer about in San Francisco.
Well, actually, since we are located in Northern California, FCI knows there is a lot to cheer about if you live in or near San Francisco.
So much to see.
So much to do.
And you know what? In terms of cheer?
No one does that better than the San Francisco 49ers cheerleaders. Also named, “The Gold Rush”.
The San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush Cheerleaders are the cheerleading team for the NFL's San Francisco 49ers. The current team was founded in 1983 by USA, which has been renamed to e2k.
They have performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. They are also involved in many charitable events.
Did you know that “A” list actress Teri Hatcher was once a 49ers cheerleader?
(Teri - second from the left )
Teri Hatcher is an American actress and singer best known for her portrayals of Lois Lane on the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993–1997), Paris Carver in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), Mel Jones and the Beldam in Coraline (film).
Is there more to her resume?
Of course.
She played Susan Mayer on the television series Desperate Housewives (2004–2012), for which she won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy and three Screen Actors Guild Awards (one as lead female actor, two as part of Best Ensemble), and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
Given her talent, no doubt she was a fantastic 49er cheerleader.
As reported by the informative news and information source the-sun.com, “That's right, former Desperate Housewives star Hatcher was a cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers back in 1984.
In fact, Hatcher told TMZ back in 2015 that she received a Super Bowl ring from the team after their win in 1995, and still wears it.”
The article goes on to share that her net worth is around $50 million.
Among NFL cheerleaders, these beautiful women have even more to cheer about.
The local paper sfexaminer.com educates, “The 49ers are the outlier, according to data from Comparably. The Gold Rush Girls make 51% more than the national average salary for a highly experienced cheerleader in the lower 48 — $102,830 annually.”
By comparison early career cheerleaders in the NFL make $150 per game and $50-75 per public appearance, according to ESPN, for a maximum of $3,825 per.
Interesting.
Regarding the legendary 49ers, they are partnering with a group that can bring you sunshine almost year round.
Now, that is truly something to cheer about.
It is often foggy in San Francisco but here you’ll need your sunscreen.
Check it out.
