New and wonderful things are happening in the awards and trophy cases in American high schools.
Female wrestlers are gracing them with their honors.
Decades ago, that was unheard of. Today is a new day.
Now, while our fully competitive female submission wrestling industry does not contain that sort of structure, we still love to honor our heroes in the ways that we can.
Great Britain’s legendary wrestler Scorpion has a rich history in our industry that spans approximately a decade and while we don’t have an electronic trophy cases, we can still sing her praises through our magazine.

If it has, we are happy to take you down memory lane with three of her great matches. She has many more but hopefully, for now, this will do.

Two female wrestlers, from different countries, with extensive resumes and stellar reputations, meeting for the first time, should meet on the world’s largest stage.
Wouldn’t you agree?
Not some private club with no audience.
Czech Republic’s Siberia and England’s Scorpion, will meet for the first time, on the world’s largest stage, at the great Femwrestle Events in Troisdorf, Germany.
Siberia has frequently battled her contemporaries in Lilith, Alkaia and Artemis at private clubs. Scorpion has wrestled in England against the likes of Karmen, Justice, Sativa, Axa and other British female luminaries during the TC Wrestling era.
Scorpion has strong skillsets with a blue belt in BJJ and several other martial arts, including Muay Thai, Boxing, Freestyle Wrestling, and Pro-Wrestling.
Today, in front of a live audience, two solid wrestlers from different respected wrestling worlds are about to collide.
Let’s go ringside.
SCORPION VS SIBERIA
The two perform the traditional standing introductions before walking to the center of the mats to battle.
They begin on their knees with hand fighting and upper neck struggle. Siberia pulls Scorpion’s neck downward and moves her into a failed floor to sitting body scissor and semi leg Triangle Choke, which Scorpion easily breaks through and now the British wrestler is on top.
Siberia fails to lock up one of Scorpion’s legs so the veteran easily performs a full mount and smothers Siberia out.
1-0 for Scorpion (1:25).
Time to start again.
They start with the hand fighting and Siberia does the same exact thing that failed before. She pulls Scorpion’s neck downward and tries another failed floor to sitting body scissor and this time a failed arm semi Triangle Choke.
Scorpion breaks both and immediately takes control.
She rolls Siberia into a brutal head scissor and the Czech beauty painfully taps out.
2-0 for Scorpion.
Siberia has to sit there for a second, holding her right jaw. That really hurt and she is almost reduced to mild tears. Scorpion consoles her and instructs the camera person to turn the camera off until Siberia can gather her composure.
Once she does regain her composure, does Siberia have a Plan B?
Plan A and the floor to sitting body scissors thing isn’t working at all. She is larger than Scorpion. In our opinion, this big beautiful girl should fight it out from the top and keep it simple.
Go for the headlock.
Let’s see what happens next.
Unfortunately more of the same.
Siberia tries to pull Scorpion down by the neck. Then she tries a right arm semi Triangle Choke, all easily broken by Scorpion who is right on top of her. Why is Scorpion right on top of her?
Because Siberia did not scissor one of her legs. Basic wrestling defense 101.
From the top position, Scorpion makes quick work of Siberia with a choke and smother.
3-0 for Scorpion (3:24).
It’s getting late, early.
LUCRECIA VS SCORPION

The two experienced warriors will begin on their knees.
They begin with mild hand fighting until Scorpion reaches behind Lucrecia’s neck, pulls her downward and, from the top position, bending over Lucrecia, tries to find an advantage as Lucrecia pulls on her right arm.
Scorpion begins to maneuver around, from the top, as she tries different potential submission holds, including a reverse head scissor that gets Lucrecia’s attention but does not seriously threaten her. Scorpion does have the skills but Lucrecia’s curvy body is hard to get a good grasp on, though curiously, Lucrecia thus far is being very passive. She appears content to remain in the turtle position.
Finally Scorpion rolls her over to a frontal body pin position, her head facing south, and the pin count gets to two before Lucrecia gets her shoulders up. Scorpion effectively applies a strong head scissor, from the side, and squeezes hard. Lucrecia taps out.
1-0 for Scorpion (3:11).
It is all well and good for Lucrecia to play good defense but at some point, she needs to score. Being passive will not make that happen.
They begin from their knees.
This time Lucrecia is a little more aggressive, fighting it out from the top and does much to capture Scorpion in a tentative headlock. She soon secures the headlock but as they fall to the mats, Scorpion achieves the top position. With that position of strength, the British star breaks the headlock. Lucrecia reverts back to the turtle position.
Scorpion is once again in control.
The veteran is patient and slowly maneuvers Lucrecia over and mounts her in a frontal pin smother position, her head facing south, but has Lucrecia fully captured. She submits the curvy Czech beauty at pin count ten.
2-0 for Scorpion (5:36).

As far as archives go, this appears to be a good one.
In terms of fully competitive women’s wrestling, London is famous for providing that.
Scorpion vs The Glamazon.
Given the latter’s name, we might not take her seriously until we saw her profile. She is 6ft and 2.5 inches.
Not 6ft, 2 inches.
Not 6ft, 3 inches.
Make sure you get it right. 2.5 inches.
That is one tall beautiful girl.
Okay, fine. We still asked ourselves the question, should we take her wrestling seriously?
We researched some of her previous matches and you know what?
We are absolutely going to take her seriously and as formidable as the veteran Scorpion can be, we suggest that she take her seriously as well.
What were two previous match results?
Glamazon defeated Desdemona 10-0 and Hex 16-0.
See what we mean?
Now, we know that you look as good as your competition makes you look, but that sounds pretty good.
Scorpion is a solid wrestler who competes in London and at the great Femwrestle events in Troisdorf, Germany.
Here is what was said about her when she was fairly new to the scene in 2016.
“Why is Scorpion so confident?
She explains why herself. “I'm a natural alpha female; strong and athletic, with a nasty little sadistic side. I'm an all-action woman, with muscle bound, ass-kicking body that have been honed with years of sports. As well as martial arts, years of riding mountain bikes and off-road motorbikes. I have trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai boxing, Boxing and MMA. I'm fast and deadly on the mat - so don't think you can relax for a second!”
Her UK group is proud of her. At thesubmissionroom.co.uk they praise, “An all-action woman, with a muscle bound, ass-kicking body that has been honed with years of sport. Alongside martial arts, she rides mountain bikes and dirt bikes, which explains those ridiculous quads! She has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Thai boxing, Boxing and MMA.”
Scorpion is greatly respected in any time period.
More recently, at TC Wrestling, she defeated a beautiful woman larger than her in Czech Republic’s Lucrecia 4-1. She decimated an experienced wrestler in Czech Siberia 11-1. So, Scorpion is as steady as they come.
This match promises to be intense.
Time to go ringside.
They first stand facing one another and it is clear the Glamazon is much taller, as she stares down into Scorpion’s eyes.
Make that glares.
Height is no issue to Scorpion as she begins in the crouch position and she and Glamazon begin hand fighting. That goes on for some time as they try and grab one another’s wrists. Glamazon finally takes Scorpion down with a headlock. The veteran British wrestler counters with a scissor. They struggle and grapple around. Finally Scorpion achieves a behind the back body scissor. They struggle some more.
Scorpion is making little headway. Glamazon is a big strong girl.
They struggle some more.
As Glamazon tries to escape, Scorpion rolls her over and now is on top of her in a potential smother position. Can the British star achieve the submission?
Not yet.
Glamazon escapes the submission but Scorpion is still in control and begins to ride Glamazon from behind and takes the tall beauty down again, still controlling her from behind and finally sliding the statuesque blonde into a side head scissor. Then she gains the top position, sits on Glamazon’s head, squeezes the scissor and Glamazon taps out.
1-0 for Scorpion (4:51).

We really enjoyed that.
