United Kingdom Wrestlers Travel To Hungary, Alexis Luna Vs Viper, Competitive Or Fantasy? You Decide

August 17, 2024,

We like this matchup.

A lot.

While we wouldn’t say both female wrestlers are flying under the radar, they are known stars, but we would say they are not soaring with the elite either.

And that fine.

They are mid-level wrestlers who are beautiful, athletic and very enjoyable to watch.

Viper is probably a little better known due to her affiliation with Max Academy. Alexis has cut her teeth at London live events.

In terms of match results, we would give Viper a slightly higher score, given her close victory over a DWW legend in Zsuzsa, but she has been thoroughly dominated by higher skilled wrestlers in Dolly and Sheena.

Alexis is more of an open canvass and we are curious to see how she will paint today.

The nod goes to Viper, but we have been surprised before.

Time to go ringside.

The following is our opinion.

ALEXIS LUNA VS VIPER MAX

We love the fact that these two mid-level wrestlers, who often wrestle in UK events, have traveled outside of the pond and will compete on foreign soil, in Hungary, at Antscha’s often elite events.

In London, sometimes the event wrestling can be a little tepid and too friendly, but listed as competitive.

Here, Antscha tends to keep the action moving which yields a much more superior match.

There is a pride factor here as well. At this point in history, Antscha is the most powerful venue in the fully competitive female submission wrestling industry in front of an international audience.

Both girls will have something to prove.

The world is watching.

Time to see who holds up best.

The two warriors go down to their knees.

They begin with upper torso struggle and Viper wins out and takes Alexis down, applying a floor to kneeling body scissor. Alexis resists and Viper eventually slides it into a side body scissor and eventually, from the top, elongates Alexis into the smother position, sits on her school girl style and then flattens out for the count.

At eight, Alexis escapes.

While Viper maintains scissor control, she is doing so from the bottom. Alexis has gotten to her knees, displaying her incredibly gorgeous thick muscle filled thighs. The British star struggles to try and take control from the top, clasped inside of Viper’s scissors.

Alexis persists and it pays off as she gains control and soon performs a reverse face sit on Viper. A brief pin count begins. Shoulders up. Alexis continues to sit up top with her behind in Viper’s face, having the gorgeous blonde pinned to the mats.

Alexis makes what appears to be a tactical mistake.

Elongated, she leans forward and applies a flattened head scissor on Viper and cranks with her powerful thighs. Still, she left herself frontal vulnerable as Viper traps her in a head scissor as well. Now, a war of attrition begins with both girls applying scissors from opposite ends. Viper is between those powerful muscular thighs and raises her right hand to tap out and does.

The first submission goes to Alexis.

1-0 (2:55).

Viper admits Alexis’s thighs are powerful.

No kidding.

They begin again with head struggle. Viper keeps a right arm headlock on Alexis as the two roll around in struggle. Viper head locks Alexis. The curvy brunette in return packages Viper in her strong arms and legs. They roll around and struggle some more. Elongated bodies, Alexis gains the top position and Viper scissors the right muscular thigh to prevent a full mount.

They grapple around more, gorgeous legs in struggle. Viper attempts a Guillotine Choke but Alexis escapes. It gives Viper just enough time to gain the top position and she sits on Alexis school girl pin style and comes in for the pin.

The ref begins the count. Viper flattens down forward over Alexis’s torso for more leverage. Alexis kicks her strong beautiful muscular porcelain thighs to no avail. The beautiful muscle girl is counted out at 10.

1-1 ties (5:02).

Time to begin.

Viper exclaims, “She’s smiling at me”.

Alexis is silent.

Antscha responds, “Would it be better if she had an angry face?”

Searching question. It’s getting a little Zen in here.

While Viper has let up on the gas and, is now talking too much, Alexis is getting down to business. On top, in the elongated position she uses both of her strong arms to package Viper and squeeze. Viper responds, “I could stay here all day”.

Memo to Viper: Less talk and more wrestling. You’re supposed to be the front runner here.

In response to Viper’s challenge, Alexis squeezes the headlock harder and Viper moans and taps out.

And we thought “all day” in America and Ireland meant the same thing. All day, apparently turned into seconds.

2-1 for Alexis (5:43).

They start with Greco style head struggle from their knees.

Alexis pushes the Irish beauty backwards and lands on top of her.

Oh boy, here we go again. Viper asks Alexis how much she weighs (perhaps looking for an excuse to lose). Alexis captures her in another brutal headlock and begins to squeeze from the top position. Instead of trying to escape, Viper utters more talkie, talkie.

Alexis covers her mouth (great idea).

Viper taps out.

Antscha announces you cannot cover the mouth. The submission is nullified.

Too bad. Anything to make Viper stop talking so much. This is Hungary. Not certain places in England where lots of talking is okay.

Alexis keeps the pressure on and squeezes harder on the choke. Viper taps out.

3-1 for Alexis.

Well, it appears Viper thinks she’s back in London, at one event venue in particular, where a lot of giggling, butt slapping, yapping and tepid wrestling is allowed. Keep that up here in Hungary Viper, and you’re going to lose.

Viper asks, “What’s the score”?

How’s that for concentration.

Even her audience is starting to get annoyed. One yells out, “Come on Viper”, in a disappointed voice.

They struggle around and Viper gains the top position and traps Alexis in a leg Triangle Choke. “You pretty much fell into that” Viper smiles. Alexis puts up minimal effort and taps out.

Yuck.

This is starting to look like a sparring session. We’ll hold our nose and try and finish the review on this one.

3-2 for Alexis.

In the next round Viper controls the action but there is so much talking and gamesmanship, we’re going to speed this up. This is one of the reasons why FCI virtually never reviews modern women’s submission matches from the United States because so much of it is scripted, pretending to be competitive, that we don’t have the time to tell what is what.

This match is starting to smell like that.

Viper screams, “Ready to feel the force”?

She captures Alexis beneath, attempts a pin count but Alexis kicks out.

Maybe there is hope for a fully competitive ending.

In our minds, not to be.

Alexis meekly lays flat on her stomach and allows Viper to submit her with a backbreaker and her feet. Yeah, like putting her feet over Alexis’s mouth.

This is something we would see out of a fantasy punishment round ending. Alexis is used to that since, when we researched her, most of her matches on “Clips” are fantasy. She meekly submits and just lays there while Viper sits atop. We know that both talented girls can perform better than today. Oh well.

Look, maybe we are wrong and all of you reading this will find the match enthralling. This is just an opinion.

The match score ends 3-3.

For us, the yawn index from 1-10, with ten being the highest, comes in at 9.5.
