October 13, 2024,
There are some female submission wrestlers who appear to have boundless energy.
Germany’s Kiniku is one of them. Sometimes watching her wrestle is like watching a pinball machine.
Here is what FCI Women’s Wrestling Magazine had to say about her in her back and forth match against the legendary Zsuzsa.
“Have you ever been in a situation where you can keep a prized creature of nature, as long as you can grab it? Then you enter the room where there is a least 20 of them, like rabbits, and they keep running around the room with no pattern of movement, going at least 200 miles an hour as you chase them, to no avail, to try and make a capture.
That is what this match feels like.
Maybe this might be a better description.
You come to an aquarium with 1,000 fish swimming inside. You can keep as many as you can grab in 10 seconds. This is your dinner. The moderator counts, 1, 2, 3, go! You stick your hands inside of the huge aquarium and the fish start racing away at 800 miles an hour.
Kiniku can scurry quickly. The problem is, even though she gets the upper hand, like she does here again, she let’s go of the hold and, like Ground Hog Day, her and Zsuzsa keep starting over and over again in the center of the room.”
There is nothing like wrestling with endless energy. Sometimes that comes natural but for the rest of us, we may need some help. Sometimes understanding what is really helpful is knowing what is not.
The healthy minds at healthline.com educate, “While a cheeseburger and fries might be comforting while you’re eating it, its nutritional value is low. Highly processed foods, such as some packaged or canned foods, candy, boxed meals, and precooked meats are typically full ofTrusted Source preservatives, additives, sodium, trans fat, and artificial ingredients that may slow you down.”
Good to know.
Those cheeseburgers certainly taste good but, in terms of energy, they are not going to help you much during a match.
What about energy drinks?
A greatly informative source that we often quote, webmd.com, explains, “They have zero health benefits. What they do have is large amounts of caffeine and sugar. Drinking too much caffeine can raise your blood pressure and heart rate, and cause anxiety and insomnia. Drinking them over the long term can raise your risks for heart disease.”
We get the point.
There are many natural foods that can provide you with wonderful energy. Let’s look at a couple of them.
Between games we see tennis players take a bite of a banana. Good idea.
A raw banana is 75% water, 23% carbohydrates, 1% protein, and contains negligible fat.
A reference amount of 100 grams (3.5 oz) supplies 89 calories, 24% of the Daily Value of vitamin B6, and moderate amounts of vitamin C, manganese, potassium, and dietary fiber, with no other micronutrients in significant content.
Some energy and a lot of health benefits.
Let’s turn back to the experts. At webmd.com they add, “The best fuel for exercise is carbohydrates, preferably “complex” ones like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Healthy fats from fish, nuts, vegetable oils, and avocados can help fuel endurance sports.”
Like female submission wrestling.
Chicken is a great source of lean protein. You certainly can use a lot of protein during the match.
Of course you eat these energy foods days leading up to the match. During the match you want to have a clean and empty stomach. Of course.
So much chicken is processed, it would be wonderful to get your protein with a chicken that is not. Ready?
This might be a good chicken idea for you.
Daring Plant Chicken Introduces New Vegetarian Frozen Entrees

CULVER CITY, Calif., Oct. 3, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- Daring Plant Chicken is excited to announce the launch of two new vegetarian frozen entrees – Buffalo Mac and Cheese Plant Chicken Bowl and Queso Burrito Plant Chicken Bowl. These new vegetarian bowls build on the success of Daring's existing frozen entrée portfolio while broadening the appeal of Plant Chicken to a growing flexitarian audience who is looking to reduce its meat consumption.
The Buffalo Mac and Cheese Plant Chicken Bowl combines the rich creaminess of macaroni and cheese with roasted red peppers, and Daring's spicy Buffalo Wings. The Queso Burrito Plant Chicken Bowl combines Daring's Original Pieces with rice, cheddar cheese, roasted red peppers, sweet corn, and savory black beans. Both delicious bowls contain dairy cheese and Daring's vegan Plant Chicken. Daring Plant Chicken is known for its' short and simple ingredient list, whole muscle texture, and high protein. Consistent with the existing Daring Frozen Entrée range, both vegetarian bowls contain +16g of protein per serving, among the highest protein content in the vegetarian frozen entrée set.
"We are thrilled to introduce our new vegetarian frozen entrees," said Jeff Gendelman, CEO at Daring Foods." At Daring, our goal is to make the best plant chicken products on the market and to encourage as many people as possible to introduce plant-based meat into their diets. We are very excited by the reception of our vegan entrees, but we know that many flexitarian and omnivore consumers are hesitant to try fully vegan options. Flexitarians and omnivores make up over 90% of the population. To make the biggest impact, we need to convert the largest number of consumers to a plant-based-friendly diet, and that must include the flexitarian and omnivore audience."
"In doing product research, we looked at what was succeeding in food service at places like Burger King and Starbucks where flexitarian and omnivore consumers were eating products like plant beef and plant sausage patties sitting on top of egg and dairy cheese. Including small amounts of dairy cheese made flexitarian and omnivore consumers more receptive to plant-based meat products. With Daring's new vegetarian bowls, we'll be able to speak to these consumers and introduce them to our vegan plant chicken in a format that they are more open to trying. We're excited to further broaden the reach of Plant Chicken to maximize our positive impact on the planet."
Starting this October 2024, the Daring Vegetarian Plant Chicken Bowls will be available at Albertsons, Target, and Publix stores nationwide.
