Are the best days behind us?
Possibly.
We hope not. We sense so. We, at FCI, are getting older. Much older.
The glory days were great. For us, right around 2012-2015. But we’ve never come close to achieving those video shoots and meeting a mellower crowd of Female Submission Wrestlers and Session Stars since.
So much in the fully competitive female submission wrestling industry has changed.
Less is not more. At least not here.
We think of the incredible 1975 hit by the legendary band Ambrosia, Holdin’ On To Yesterday. A very sad classic.
We deeply appreciate that Antscha keeps providing great product. We have supported by purchasing extensively over the years. It is extremely important for all of us to keep purchasing her videos.
So for now, we keep holding on to yesterday.
Antscha has the greatest events now but Femwrestle had incredible events, apparently gone forever. We keep holding on to their great memory. Here are three excerpts involving stellar British female warriors.
Hold on. Here they are.
ARTEMIS VS ULTRA
Speaking of Czech stars, we see Alkaia and Lilith in the audience.
The two gorgeous combatants, Artemis and Ultra, pose and flex.
It is time to get started.
They begin on their knees with upper hand fighting. Ultra gets the best of it and captures Artemis in a headlock and takes her down. The Czech beauty struggles to get away but Ultra is hanging on for dear life. She absolutely should because this is a very unique opportunity. Someone in the audience says something and Ultra laughs.
That was a mistake.
Artemis quickly rolls the British brunette into a side body scissor. Ultra has the headlock, Artemis the scissors. A small war of attrition begins, which Artemis wins.
She breaks the headlock and traps Ultra in a floor to sitting body scissor.
The beautiful British girl struggles.
Ultra’s efforts fights off a combination hold where Artemis was trying to retain the scissor headlock and grasp Ultra’s left arm as well. They are both in the elongated position.
More struggle.
Ultra finally breaks the hold and the two Fem Competitors start again.
They engage from their knees.
The British maiden quickly goes for a Guillotine Choke, but can’t sustain it.
Time for Artemis to go on the offensive.
She traps Ultra in a floor to sitting body scissor and squeezes. Ultra grimaces but she will survive this. Soon Artemis flips her over, elongates the brunette out and tries for a smother pin count.
Ultra kicks out of the hold.
Things are starting to heat up as we watch the audience stare intently.
Artemis is determined to make the floor to sitting scissor work and even pulls down Ultra’s head for good measure. Ultra is just as determined not to be submitted by that typically pedestrian hold and eventually breaks it.
She quickly captures Artemis in a headlock.
Great move.
Ultra applies the pressure and makes Artemis uncomfortable but they are near the edge of the mats and Honey stops the action and asks them to come back to the center.
Artemis gains the first advantage with a form of a Guillotine Choke that morphs into a headlock that is soon lost.
Ultra gains the advantage and tries a headlock of her own and loses it as well.
They engage from the knees.
Push forward, push back.
After struggle, Artemis seizes the opportunity as Ultra gives up her back. Artemis flattens her out on her stomach with an attempt at a chin lock. Ultra struggles and breaks free but Artemis maintains control. The Czech star soon rolls Ultra into a floor to sitting body scissor, pulls the brunette’s head forward and downward and squeezes. Ultra continues to resist but the slender Czech continues to ratchet up the pressure on Ultra’s neck until she taps out. Over eight minutes into the closely contested match, there is finally a submission.
1-0 for Artemis (8:19).
SCORPION VS SIBERIA
The two perform the traditional standing introductions before walking to the center of the mats to battle.
They begin on their knees with hand fighting and upper neck struggle. Siberia pulls Scorpion’s neck downward and moves her into a failed floor to sitting body scissor and semi leg Triangle Choke, which Scorpion easily breaks through and now the British wrestler is on top.
Siberia fails to lock up one of Scorpion’s legs so the veteran easily performs a full mount and smothers Siberia out.
1-0 for Scorpion (1:25).
Time to start again.
They start with the hand fighting and Siberia does the same exact thing that failed before. She pulls Scorpion’s neck downward and tries another failed floor to sitting body scissor and this time a failed arm semi Triangle Choke.
Scorpion breaks both and immediately takes control.
She rolls Siberia into a brutal head scissor and the Czech beauty painfully taps out.
2-0 for Scorpion.
Siberia has to sit there for a second, holding her right jaw. That really hurt and she is almost reduced to mild tears. Scorpion consoles her and instructs the camera person to turn the camera off until Siberia can gather her composure.
Once she does regain her composure, does Siberia have a Plan B?
Plan A and the floor to sitting body scissors thing isn’t working at all. She is larger than Scorpion. In our opinion, this big beautiful girl should fight it out from the top and keep it simple.
Go for the headlock.
Let’s see what happens next.
Unfortunately more of the same.
Siberia tries to pull Scorpion down by the neck. Then she tries a right arm semi Triangle Choke, all easily broken by Scorpion who is right on top of her. Why is Scorpion right on top of her?
Because Siberia did not scissor one of her legs. Basic wrestling defense 101.
From the top position, Scorpion makes quick work of Siberia with a choke and smother.
3-0 for Scorpion (3:24).
XENA VS AMANDA
The pre-match ceremonies begin with the legendary Honey, serving as referee, asking the two strong athletic women to come to the center of the mats and pose for pictures.
The gorgeous Amazons are loaded with beautiful feminine muscle.
A snap shot for the history books.
Time to begin.
The two begin on their knees with cautious hand fighting to try and establish some positioning.
Xena is the aggressor and encases Amanda in a floor to sitting body scissors with an attempt for a submission while Amanda counters by driving her elbows into Xena’s thighs.
No submission there, as the two struggle on the ground and Xena next attempts a side body scissors. Amanda is on the defensive but continues to fight Xena off.
The irony is that during the whole time, from the beginning of the match, Amanda has been in the top position but unable to do anything with it.
Xena changes that by rolling on top of Amanda. Xena appears to the be the stronger wrestler as Amanda struggles underneath the sexy thick British blonde.
Xena now decides on a reverse face sit as she rests her body on Amanda’s chest. At this point all Amanda can do is beautifully struggle underneath.
Xena now maneuvers Amanda into a bent over position and if she decides to, push her forward into a Guillotine Choke.
Xena maintains the top position and a vice grip on Amanda’s upper body. Amanda keeps trying to move away and the veteran Xena follows her, clamps down hard and, at the edge of the mat, Amanda taps out.
Xena leads 1-0 (4:29).
SUMMARY
Those were the days.
It’s not wrong to keep holding on to something great when few have replaced it.
Our brain contains important memories for a reason.
Hold on to them.
